Tiny Teeth

What to do in Dental Emergencies?

In case the child falls and the front tooth pops out (Avulsion)

If it is a permanent tooth, it should be put back into the socket at the earliest. (Replantation). If the tooth is soiled, hold the tooth with its crown (Never by the root) and gently wash it with saline or clean water. Do not scrub the root of the tooth. If you are not sure of how to replant it back into the socket, place the tooth in a bowl of milk and contact the nearest Dentist immediately.

In case the child has a severe toothache at night

Rinse the mouth with warm salt water followed by tooth brushing around the painful tooth. Administer paracetamol or ibuprofen if you are aware of the dosage. If you see a swollen face apply a cold pack and contact the Dentist.
